This photo is one of my first weekly journaling sessions in 2019 when I started to piece my life together coming out of a really dark period. I asked the barista at this café to take my photo. I never do that, but I was so proud of myself for overcoming my anxiety and depression and making it out of the house to focus on me!
Hi, I’m Mia!
I’m a mom of two who lives with diagnosed PTSD and depression.
When I was in the thick of mothering a toddler and a newborn, on top of caregiving for my brother who was seriously ill, I hit rock bottom, and I didn’t want to be here anymore.
Paper and pen became one of the core tools I turned to to help me heal through this dark time in my life.
I started journaling on a weekly basis using a structure that made it less overwhelming, and this helped me reconnect with my wants and needs and figure out what self-care and boundaries I needed.
This little practice has helped me create a life where my health, happiness, and well-being are finally a priority instead of an afterthought.

Coaching & Accountability
You can post your reflections and questions in a live chat during the session, and Mia will provide coaching to help you overcome the inevitable obstacles that get in the way of you prioritizing yourself. It’s exhausting to try to figure out how to overcome something when you’re the one in it. As an outside perspective, Mia can support you and help you follow through on your intentions.
Community & Connection
Life is lonely enough as it is. We need each other to remember that we are not alone, and that the struggles we face are more common than we realize. Bringing together people who want to break generational cycles of putting ourselves last and prioritize our well-being is one of the biggest reasons why I want to create this weekly space. Members can connect through the live chat during the sessions.
Logistics
Session Times
We meet for 1 hour on Sundays at 9am PST / 12pm EST / 5pm GMT.
Session Replays
Replays are emailed to you shortly after the live session ends.
Session Structure
We start with 5 minutes of guided breathwork hosted by Mia to help everyone be more present and grounded. The rest of the session consists of guided journaling, coaching, and connecting about what came up during the journaling process.
