Self-Care Overwhelm is a Real Thing; Here’s What You Can Do About It

About the Podcast Episode

No, you’re not crazy.

Self-care overwhelm IS a REAL thing.

I used to ask my audience with a poll once a week if they experienced overwhelm whenever they would get time to themselves, and the answer was always a resounding “YES!”

I mean, why wouldn’t we feel overwhelmed with what to do with free time when we are so used to being so externally focused on what everyone and everything else needs from us?

How are we supposed to be good at knowing and meeting our own needs when we rarely get the opportunity to practice?

That’s what I’m unpacking in this week’s episode. I’m sharing an easy-to-remember and easy-to-practice framework that will help you overcome that overwhelm and finally start using your precious time and energy on actually taking care of yourself in the way that you need!

Along with each episode, I'll be emailing an Affirmation of the Week and a Self-Care Practice of the Week, so make sure you're subscribed to my newsletter to come along for the journey! → https://www.miahemstad.com/letter
