The holiday season makes it even harder to practice any kind of self-care.

There are so many obligations, things to get done, and expectations fighting for our time, energy, and attention. It can be overwhelming and exhausting.

As a mom with mental health challenges who also has a career outside the home, I want to share my top 3 tips for how to protect your mental health during the holiday season—from Thanksgiving and Christmas into the New Year. The mental load, domestic labor, and difficult family conversations should not all fall onto your shoulders.
